Ingredients

• Herb Blend: Turmeric, Ginger, Cinnamon,
  Cardamom, Black Pepper
• 1 cup milk (or milk alternative – unsweetened)
• ¼ tsp Vanilla extract
• 1 tsp raw honey, to taste, optional
• 1 tsp ghee

Directions

1. Combine the milk, vanilla extract and approximately 1tsp of the herb blend.
2. Bring just to boiling.
3. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes, or until the milk
   is a golden color and has a lightly spiced flavor.
4. Remove from the heat and pour the golden milk through a fine mesh
   strainer into a mug. There may be herb powder in the mug, that is okay to
   drink.
5. Add 1 tsp of ghee.
6. Sweeten to taste with honey.
7. Enjoy this as a mid-day or evening beverage to relax and refresh.
